9 Best Air conditioning contractor in Cleveland for SameDay Service

Northeast Ohio HVAC, LLC is a heating and cooling contractor based on West 69th Street in Cleveland's Stockyards area, also listed as a plumber. Its trade categories cover air conditioning and heating installation, repair, and maintenance — the typical furnace, AC, and heat pump work of a local HVAC shop — with plumbing and heating-equipment supply alongside. The company keeps weekday plus Saturday hours and advertises emergency service. The review record is small and mixed in character: one customer describes calling after weeks of searching and getting an immediate answer with the office working around a busy schedule, while other entries appear to come from staff rather than paying customers. Review themes mention professionalism and a friendly reception, but there is little independent detail about completed installations or repairs. This is a fit for near-west-side Cleveland homeowners and small commercial clients looking for a local HVAC contractor for furnace and AC service, repairs, and replacements. Because the independent review record is thin, customers may want to confirm credentials and get the project scope in writing before work begins. Its plumbing listing suggests it can also handle basic plumbing tasks tied to heating equipment, such as hot-water-related hookups.

Gorjanc Home Services is a Cleveland-area contractor covering plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical work from locations on the east side and in Middleburg Heights. Its plumbing work includes water heater installation, faucet replacement, and basement laundry-room plumbing updates, while the HVAC side handles furnace repair and installation, ductless mini-split systems, and central air service. Electrical offerings include breaker panel services, panel upgrades, and home backup generators, with water softeners and filters also on the menu. Reviews name technicians repeatedly: Levi Mayfield, nicknamed the Faucet Master for fast faucet installations, Noah for honest upfront estimates, Chase for careful sump pump diagnosis, and Mike Soeder for thorough equipment sizing on furnace and AC replacements. Customers describe free estimates, quick dispatch even on Sundays, technicians who explain each step and put shoe covers on, and maintenance contracts covering equipment the company installed. Rental property owners say they use the company for multiple units. This is a fit for homeowners who prefer one contractor for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical instead of three separate ones, particularly those replacing major equipment like furnaces and air conditioners. Landlords with multiple properties may appreciate the single-vendor coverage across trades. For anyone comparing bundled furnace, AC, humidifier, and water heater packages, the review pattern of detailed estimates and clean installs addresses the biggest concern: knowing exactly what is being quoted before work starts.

E & M Inc. is a Cleveland HVAC contractor on Puritas Ave in the Bellaire-Puritas neighborhood, centered on heating, cooling, and indoor air quality work with plumbing, electrical, roofing, and handyman services also offered. Its HVAC side covers furnace repair, central air system service, cooling installations, and indoor air quality control, with duct cleaning listed among its capabilities. The business describes itself as mainly referral-based, serving Cleveland and the surrounding Northeast Ohio counties. The company lists service across Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, and Summit counties, giving it broad Northeast Ohio coverage from its west-side base. Its service profile extends beyond homes: it positions itself for property managers and management companies handling residential and commercial properties, with financing options available on larger work. The wider trade menu — electrical, roofing, handyman, plumbing — lets it address overlapping building issues in one engagement. This is a fit for Cleveland homeowners whose problems cross trade lines, such as a furnace replacement that also needs duct or electrical work. Property managers may find the multi-trade coverage and management-company focus useful for portfolio maintenance. For anyone evaluating an HVAC contractor primarily through referrals and fair pricing rather than emergency availability, the weekday schedule and broad county coverage make it a straightforward scheduling option rather than a middle-of-the-night answer.

R.J. Heating & Cooling is a full-service HVAC contractor in Cleveland handling residential, commercial, and industrial sales, service, design, and installation. The company services all makes and models of heating and cooling equipment, and its listed services include forced-air heating units, residential air conditioners, geothermal heating, radiant floor heating, heat pumps, and hot water and steam boilers for both homes and commercial properties. It also offers AC coil cleaning, AC condenser replacement, and energy-efficient HVAC upgrades. Review themes highlight technicians who arrive on time, communicate inspection results clearly, and fix problems in a single visit while leaving a clean work area — one church representative praised the crew for exactly that. Customers describe next-day appointments for repairs, thorough explanations of heating concerns, and technicians who do not push unnecessary upsells. The company offers 24/7 emergency service availability for heating and cooling breakdowns, positioning it for no-heat and no-cool crises at any hour. This is a fit for Cleveland property owners with boiler systems, geothermal setups, or radiant floor heating, where specialized expertise beyond standard furnace work matters. Commercial and industrial clients needing design and installation alongside service can use one contractor for the whole scope. For homeowners comparing HVAC contractors on punctuality and clear communication, the review pattern of on-time arrivals and explained inspections addresses the most common complaints about the trade.

Green Home Heating & Cooling is a heating, cooling, and plumbing contractor based on Brookpark Road in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood. It works from a whole-house building-science approach, treating the home as an integrated system to find comfort, efficiency, and safety issues. Core services include air conditioner and furnace installation and repair, heat pump services, maintenance and tune-ups, and indoor air quality work, with plumbing handled alongside HVAC. It serves Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, and Portage counties. Review themes center on full system replacements: customers describe same-week scheduling for failed air conditioners and furnaces, installers who lay down floor protection, and thorough walk-throughs of the new equipment at the end of the job. Named technicians include Bernie, Claudio, Waseem, Eduardo, Gage, and M. McCracken, and salesperson Hector is noted for explaining system options before a quote. Plumbing mentions include Chuck responding to plumbing emergencies and a water heater diagnosed down to a failed gas control valve, with the customer choosing a part replacement instead of a full swap. This is a fit for homeowners replacing aging furnaces or air conditioners who want the new system explained rather than just installed. The whole-house angle suits households chasing comfort problems that could be insulation, ductwork, or equipment — not only a single failing unit. For water heater failures or urgent plumbing problems, the review pattern of same-week installs and quick diagnostics matters most. Hours are weekdays 8 AM–5 PM (Thursday to 5:30), closed weekends, so it fits planned work more than middle-of-the-night calls.

Ohio City Heating and Cooling LLC is an HVAC contractor based on State Road in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood, with a specialty in boilers and warm-air furnaces. Services cover boiler repair, maintenance, and replacement across gas, steam, hot water, and high-efficiency boiler systems, plus furnace installation and repair, air conditioner installation and repair, heat pump services, seasonal tune-ups, and indoor air quality solutions. It handles residential and commercial work, installing Allied and Armstrong equipment. Reviews repeatedly name Richie, who is described as showing up when promised, diagnosing difficult problems other companies passed on, and pricing the work fairly. One customer describes a same-day fix on a hot summer day, going from a heating-up air conditioner to a cool house within a few hours. Another credits Richie with solving a unique system issue and explaining the work while it happened. The business accepts credit cards, offers a military discount, and serves both business and residential customers in the Cleveland area. This is a fit for Cleveland homeowners with boiler-based heating — a system type where finding a willing technician can be difficult — as well as anyone facing a furnace failure in winter or an air conditioner breakdown in a heat wave. The stated focus on same-day diagnostics and explaining options before work begins suits callers who want a clear plan. Hours run weekdays 7:30 AM–5 PM, closed weekends, so it is best matched to daytime scheduling.

ARS / Rescue Rooter is the Cleveland location of the ARS / Rescue Rooter network, based at 4505 Industrial Pkwy in the Bellaire-Puritas neighborhood and open 24 hours a day. The branch specializes in residential plumbing, drain cleaning, and sewer line work: services include sewer main clearing, video sewer inspection, Scour-Jet high-pressure grease removal, drain cleaning, water heater repair and installation, gas line installation, leak detection, sump pump service, garbage disposal service, and sewer excavation and repair. Review themes for this branch are mixed. Positive accounts describe technicians such as Jason Byrd, Chris, John, Janil, and Joe arriving promptly, communicating clearly, wearing shoe covers, and resolving clogged drains or ceiling leaks efficiently. Negative accounts describe scheduled visits that never happened, return trips without the right equipment, and pricing on toilet unclogs and drain clearing that customers felt was too high. The branch advertises emergency availability around the clock. This is a fit for Cleveland homeowners needing sewer line inspection, hydro-jetting, or drain excavation from a large national network. The 24-hour positioning suits urgent clogs and leaks at any hour. Because review experiences diverge on scheduling reliability and cost, customers may want a clear written estimate and confirmed arrival window before work starts.

H. Jack's Plumbing and Heating is a plumbing and HVAC company at 15120 Industrial Pkwy in Cleveland's Bellaire-Puritas neighborhood, part of a multi-location operation serving Northeast Ohio, open 24 hours a day. Its listed offerings span kitchen and bathroom repair and remodeling, furnace repair and service, HVAC system installation, annual HVAC maintenance, and plumbing work including drain clearing, water heater installation, and gas line repairs. Review themes center on technicians solving problems other providers could not. Customers name Ron for efficient plumbing diagnostics and Barry, Wes, Kevin, and Richard for fast furnace and air conditioning installations, with several jobs completed within hours. One reviewer described a 9 PM flooding call answered within 30 minutes. A negative account said a hot water tank diagnostic carried an extra labor charge the customer had not expected, so pricing surprises can occur. The company advertises same-day availability and positions its technicians as registered master plumbers. This is a fit for Cleveland homeowners needing furnace or air conditioning replacement, heating and cooling maintenance, or plumbing bundled with HVAC work from one company. The round-the-clock schedule suits heating failures and flooding that strike at night. Customers may want written confirmation of any diagnostic or labor charges before authorizing emergency visits.

McPhillips, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is a Cleveland contractor in the North Collinwood neighborhood handling plumbing, heating, and air conditioning service from its Waterloo Rd base. Its plumbing side covers jobs like garbage disposal replacement and hot water tank installation, while the heating and cooling side handles furnace and AC repair. The company also takes on home warranty work, arriving through warranty networks as well as direct bookings, and its hours run weekday mornings through late afternoons. Reviews name technicians Nick Ryan, Larry, Dominic, and Al across plumbing and HVAC jobs. Customers describe Dominic arriving the same afternoon a call came in the night before, explaining each step of a hot water tank replacement, and following up for two days afterward to confirm everything worked. Others praise Al for diagnosing and solving an AC failure during a heat wave and Nick Ryan for efficient garbage disposal replacement. The repeated theme is quick scheduling — call one evening, technician on site the next day. This is a fit for North Collinwood and northeast Cleveland homeowners who want fast next-day response on plumbing and HVAC repairs, particularly through home warranty channels where the company already operates. Hot water tank replacement customers get the most specific positive pattern: same-day arrival, step-by-step explanation, and post-job follow-up. For anyone prioritizing speed, the review record of next-day dispatch makes it a practical choice, though a few reviewers report slow quote callbacks, so confirming scheduling in writing is wise.
