Verne & Ellsworth Hann is a plumbing and HVAC contractor in Cleveland Heights, Ohio offering heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and indoor air quality services. Its listed services include furnace and boiler repair and replacement, central air installation, water heater repair and replacement, leak detection, and drain cleaning. The company also lists geothermal installations and a home plan membership covering annual tune-ups with priority scheduling. Customer reviews name technician Greg B. for boiler repair and annual clean-and-check visits, with Jake also named for thorough service calls. Review themes emphasize expertise with older homes: reviewers describe boiler installations in century-old houses, full bathroom plumbing replacement of century-old supply, drain, and waste lines, and furnace and air conditioning replacements completed on schedule. Technicians are noted for keeping customers informed during multi-day installations and answering questions about the equipment. This fits Cleveland Heights homeowners with older houses who need a contractor experienced with boilers, aging pipe systems, and retrofit air conditioning. The home plan membership suits customers who want scheduled annual tune-ups rather than calling only when something breaks. For full plumbing replacement or furnace and air conditioning upgrades, the multi-day installation reviews show the crew handles larger projects with steady communication.

Customers describe the crew as quick, prompt, and professional, with technicians such as Kyle Huffman and Mendel named for courteous, tidy work. Several accounts note the company answered calls quickly, arrived the same day for leaking faucets and backups, explained the problem at each step, and cleaned up thoroughly with minimal drywall removal. One reviewer said the team honestly advised that a suspected issue was not plumbing-related after all. The shop keeps Sunday hours, 8 AM to 6 PM, closes Saturdays, and closes early on Fridays at 2 PM. This is a fit for Cleveland Heights and east-side homeowners wanting fast scheduling, including Sundays, for leaks, backups, or water heater problems. The honest-diagnosis accounts may appeal to customers wary of upselling. Saturday closures mean weekend planning should target Sunday or a weekday instead.

Heights Plumbing and Drain Service is a plumbing contractor at 3500 Shannon Rd in Cleveland Heights focused on residential and light commercial drain and plumbing repair. Its core work is drain clearing and plumbing repair: kitchen and bathroom drain snaking, slow-draining tub and shower diagnosis, and rerouting broken pipes without tearing up finished floors. The company also handles water and gas line work. Its posted hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Saturday closed. Customer accounts revolve around technician Michael, also referenced as Mr. Gayler, described as honest, efficient, and thorough with older homes' plumbing quirks. Reviewers describe him rerouting a broken pipe without demolishing a bathroom floor, snaking a kitchen drain cleanly, and correctly diagnosing a drain problem that had been underestimated elsewhere. Recurring themes include fair pricing, cleanup after the job, and explanations given in plain terms, with several reviewers saying it is the only company they call for plumbing issues. This is a fit for Cleveland Heights homeowners — especially those in older houses with aging drains and pipes — who want a dependable single plumber rather than a large dispatch operation. The direct relationship with one technician makes it well suited to repeat service calls. One scheduling note: Saturday closures mean weekend problems land in the Sunday morning-to-early-afternoon window instead.

Herb's Plumbing and Heating is a plumbing and heating contractor on Noble Road in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, open 24 hours a day. It specializes in hot water, steam boilers, and hot water tanks, and handles both residential and commercial plumbing. Listed services span toilet, sink, and tub repairs, faucet work, water heater tank and tankless installation, drain snaking and jetting, gas line installation and leak repair, dishwasher and disposal replacement, shower pan replacement, and HVAC repairs. Reviews name Herb himself and Erin in the office, with fast scheduling and punctual arrival as consistent themes. Customers report quotes being honored even when jobs grew complicated, reasonable pricing, and long-term relationships spanning a decade or more. Balanced against that, one reviewer reported a shower and faucet job they found unsatisfactory, so discussing exact expectations before work starts is advisable. This fits Cleveland Heights homeowners with older boiler-and-radiator heating systems, since steam boiler expertise is the stated specialty. The 24-hour daily operation covers heating failures in winter and sudden plumbing faults. It is also relevant for small commercial properties needing the same mix of hot-water and plumbing service.
