Best Utility contractor in Austin for SameDay Service

Clarke Kent Plumbing is a plumbing contractor based on West Ben White Boulevard in Austin's South Lamar area serving residential and commercial customers across the metro and a five-county surrounding area. Its services include emergency plumbing, drain cleaning and repair, water heater installation and repair, hydro-jetting, camera and video inspections, sewer main repairs, water main repairs, slab leak repair, septic services, and backflow prevention device installation and testing. The company promises a real person answers every call and offers free estimates. The review record is mixed and worth reading before booking. Google and aggregator reviews praise technicians like Rob, Tony, Evan, and Juan Martinez for prompt arrivals, clear explanations, and tidy work, with several long-term customers reporting years of repeat service. Yelp reviews skew more critical, with some reviewers describing upsell pressure and pricing they found high for diagnostic visits. The company has served Austin for decades, and its master plumber licensing and free-estimate policy are the relevant service facts. This is a fit for homeowners and businesses that want a well-established local contractor with broad capabilities — from emergency calls to sewer mains and septic work — rather than a single-trade shop. Customers who ask for written estimates and confirm scope before authorizing work get the best value from this profile. For urgent needs, the dedicated emergency fleet and 24/7 availability are the decisive features.
