Best Lighting contractor in Austin for SameDay Service

Mr. Electric of Austin is an electrical contractor on US-290 in Austin's St. Johns area, part of the national Mr. Electric franchise network with a locally run Austin operation. Its listed services cover electrical diagnosis, service, repair, installation, and upgrades: ceiling fans, lighting repair and installation, electrical safety inspections, rewiring, outlet installation, panel upgrades, home automation, whole-home surge protection, and smoke alarm installation. The company keeps 24-hour hours every day and serves Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and the surrounding metro area for both homes and businesses. The review record centers on punctual, well-explained electrical work. Reviewers name techs Peter, Jon, Kevin Hernandez, Zack Koehlinger, James, and Max for panel upgrades, chandelier relocations, smoke and carbon monoxide alarm installs, and same-day responses to full-house power losses. One reviewer describes a technician spending the entire day restoring power; another notes a smoke alarm fixed promptly at 2 AM with hard-wired replacements and long-life batteries. Reviewers repeatedly mention technicians taking time to explain what they are doing and why, and cleaning up after the job. This is a fit for Austin homeowners who want a dedicated electrician — not a general handyman — for panel work, rewiring, lighting upgrades, and safety inspections, with 24-hour emergency availability for outages and failures. Businesses needing commercial electrical service are within the stated scope. Customers wary of unclear electrical quotes will find the upfront-pricing positioning relevant, while the explanation-focused review pattern suits first-time homeowners unfamiliar with electrical work.

Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing is a multi-trade contractor based on Metropolitan Drive in the North Burnet-Gateway area of Austin, handling plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work for residential and commercial customers. Its plumbing services include drain cleaning, leak repair, water heater installation, and general plumbing repairs. The electrical side covers repairs, breaker replacements, and wiring upgrades, while the HVAC side handles AC repair, installation, and maintenance with 24-hour AC repair availability. Review themes highlight knowledgeable technicians and no-pressure service. Weston, Mario, Oscar, Bobby, and John are named for explaining problems in detail, listening to customer concerns, and selling only what was needed. Customers describe fast AC installs, after-hours service arranged when the schedule was full, and technicians who called back when repairs turned out unnecessary. One reviewer reported follow-up issues after after-hours calls on a new unit. This is a fit for Austin homeowners who want a single company for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. It suits AC repairs and replacements, water heater and leak calls, and households that value honest assessments over upselling. Customers can expect responsive scheduling and detailed explanations, with after-hours coverage for urgent cooling failures.
