Best Contractor in Tacoma for SameDay Service

Southern Boyz General Contractor and Plumbing LLP is a Tacoma-based general contractor with a strong plumbing arm, run by owner Kerry and based on South Sheridan Avenue. The firm's trade spans plumbing repairs, general contracting, drywall work, handyman services, with plumbing specialties including faucets, fixtures, pipes, and water heater installation and replacement. Review themes cover emergency plumbing calls answered late at night, same-day fixes for broken garbage disposals and lost water pressure, hose bib and galvanized pipe replacements, and kitchen and bathroom renovations including a historic North Slope Tacoma duplex remodel. Reviews repeatedly name Kerry for arriving fast, sometimes the same day and even on Sundays, diagnosing problems on the spot, and explaining the work as he goes so customers understand their own systems. One reviewer describes a clogged drain repaired with equipment fetched on the fly and an extra clog found 30 feet down the line; another notes a late-night emergency call answered immediately with the problem contained quickly. Themes include honest, cost-effective quotes, fair pricing, and careful work in historic homes where modern fixtures must preserve the home's character. This is a fit for homeowners who want one contractor for plumbing and related repairs, from emergency calls to kitchen and bathroom projects. The general-contractor scope makes it relevant for remodels that combine plumbing with drywall or finish work. For customers in Tacoma's older neighborhoods with aging pipes and fixtures, the pattern of same-day response, honest pricing, and owner-led communication is the standout value.
