Best Gasfitter in St. Petersburg for SameDay Service

Salemme Plumbing, LLC is a residential and light commercial plumbing company based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Its listed services cover drain clearing, hydro jetting, video inspection, water and sewer re-pipes, water heater installation, fixture installations and remodels, gas line work, and water filtration and softener systems. The company advertises 24-hour emergency service and positions itself on quick response, with several customers reporting same-day or next-day appointments. Review themes center on communication and speed: customers say the office sends a text with a photo of the incoming technician before arrival, and named technicians Kevin, Doug, Tony, Kyle, and Mel are praised for explaining charges up front, working carefully on tricky jobs like decade-old shower valve cartridges, and cleaning up afterward. A minority of reviews raise complaints — one about being billed for a short visit without an adjustment, another about a faulty tankless water heater install — while the majority describe fast, professional work. This is a fit for St. Petersburg homeowners who want a plumber that combines drain and re-pipe capability with gas and water-treatment work in one call. The text-introduction practice suits households that prefer knowing who is arriving. Those considering repiping, water softeners, or gas line work can compare its broad specialty list against narrower drain-only shops.

FLORIDA GAS AND PLUMBING INC is a St. Petersburg gas and plumbing contractor serving Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, Gulfport, Seminole, and surrounding Pinellas County. Its dual specialty covers all phases of gas and plumbing: gas line installation and repair, gas pool heaters, gas tiki lighting, fire bowls and pits, and outdoor kitchens on the gas side, plus tankless water heaters, leak detection, water filtration, backflow services, sewer services, toilet and bathtub or shower installation, and new-construction and remodel plumbing. The business describes itself as veteran-led and offers military discounts, a theme that also appears in its public branding. Review themes center on fast emergency response for gas leaks and lost hot water, with technician Rick named for quick diagnosis and clear communication. Customers praise the company for gas meter upgrades and for repairing gas lines after hurricanes, noting thorough workmanship and willingness to stand by completed work. This is a fit for homeowners whose project mixes gas and plumbing, including an outdoor kitchen, gas pool heater, fire pit, or tiki lighting install alongside plumbing upgrades, where one contractor handling both trades avoids coordination gaps. For gas-leak or post-storm gas repairs, the quick-response reviews and dual-trade expertise are directly relevant. Standard plumbing repairs are covered too, but the gas specialization is the differentiator for customers choosing between this company and a plumbing-only shop.
