Best Plumber in Oak Park for SameDay Service

Slade's Plumbing & Sewer Service is a locally owned plumbing and sewer contractor based on Dequindre Road in Hazel Park, Michigan, serving the greater Detroit area. Its services include plumbing installation and repair, sewer installations and repairs, sewer cleaning and jetting, water heater installation, sump pump services, gas line repairs, and video pipe inspection, covering both residential and commercial clients. Self-descriptions in third-party directories present it as a long-running local contractor with 24-hour emergency availability. The review record is mixed. Positive accounts praise reception and installation crews for professional, courteous service, highlight outside faucet replacements done carefully with no leaks, and note the owner personally following up. Negative accounts are sharper: one reviewer describes a gas line left leaking overnight after dryer installation, which the company corrected but only after the gas company found it, and others report poor insurance-claim handling, a canceled file after months of waiting, and scheduling frustrations. This is a fit for Hazel Park and Oakland County homeowners needing combined plumbing and sewer work such as service line replacement or sewer cleaning paired with fixture repairs. The video pipe inspection offering suits diagnostic-first customers. Given the divided record, customers should confirm pricing, scheduling, and follow-up in writing before work begins, and gas-line work in particular warrants verifying the finished installation before the crew leaves.

Plumbing Techs of Michigan is an Oak Park plumbing contractor at 12700 Capital Street serving Oakland County and lower Michigan, operating under the additional DBA name Magic Plumbers. Its service range covers plumbing repairs, bathtubs, copper and PEX piping, drain cleaning, drain televising and locating, faucets, laundry tubs, sinks, sump pumps, toilets, water heaters, backflow services, garbage disposals, gas lines, leak detection, sewer and septic services, and water filters. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with emergency service offered. Technicians named in reviews include Edward, Martin, Jamie, and Kevin. Review themes center on competence and care: a burst hot water tank replaced within the hour of calling, a gas valve swapped on a water heater still under warranty, a winter-frozen outside spigot repaired, and consistent cleanup during and after jobs. Reviewers describe the team as professional, knowledgeable, patient, and on time, with several calling it their number one plumbing contact. This is a fit for Oakland County homeowners wanting an established local contractor covering both routine repairs and specialized diagnostics like drain televising and locating. It suits customers with aging plumbing systems who value a technician explaining options before work starts and a company that cleans up after itself.
