Best Heating contractor in Milwaukee for SameDay Service

O & W Heating and Cooling and Furnace, boiler, water heater install & repair is a Milwaukee heating and plumbing contractor at 4379 S Howell Ave in the Town of Lake neighborhood, specializing in gas furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and water heaters including tankless units from brands like Navien, Bradford White, Bryant, and Lennox. It keeps unusually long hours — 6 AM to 9 PM weekdays and Saturdays, to 9:30 PM Sundays — and provides emergency service even on weekends, positioning itself around availability when other shops are closed. The review record centers on owner-operator Omer, who is repeatedly credited with answering initial calls within minutes, arriving at homes within the hour, and completing full water heater replacements within a day when other services quoted multi-day waits. Customers describe him explaining each step, providing temporary space heaters during breakdowns, and delivering fair pricing. Reviewers also note quick responses to after-hours online requests, including a storm-related water heater call answered within half an hour. This is a fit for south-side Milwaukee homeowners whose furnace or water heater fails on a weekend and cannot wait until Monday, and for anyone who wants the same technician from diagnosis through installation. The tankless and heat-pump expertise suits buyers modernizing older heating systems. Expectation-setting is easy here: the record is essentially one person's responsiveness, so service quality tracks the owner-operator directly.

Uttke Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is a heating, cooling, and plumbing contractor at 4209 S Howell Ave on Milwaukee's south side, serving the metro area with both HVAC and plumbing work. Its listed scope includes furnace and air-conditioner installation and replacement, indoor air quality products, and plumbing repairs such as fixture and faucet fixes, with the business describing itself as an HVAC service shop that has expanded into plumbing. Review themes are consistently strong on responsiveness and communication. Customers name owner Jen for fast, clear office coordination and Mark, Tristan, Noah, and TJ for field work, describing prompt arrivals, itemized quotes, and crews that leave work areas clean. A late-Friday shower-faucet emergency got a technician on site within 20 minutes, and several customers report replacing furnaces and air conditioners after comparing quotes, describing Uttke's pricing as competitive with solid warranty terms. One customer calls pricing a tad high but worth the peace of mind. This is a fit for south-side Milwaukee and metro-area homeowners who want one company covering both heating and cooling and plumbing, especially for time-sensitive failures like a faucet that will not shut off or a failed furnace during a cold snap. The pattern of same-day emergency response and thorough quote explanations suits owners comparing options before a major HVAC or plumbing investment.
