Best Plumber in Memphis for SameDay Service

Mid-South Plumbing Co is a Memphis plumbing contractor on Filmore Avenue in the Castalia Heights area covering residential and commercial work. Its listed offerings include faucet installation and repair, sewer line repair, gas line services, and water heater services. Hours run Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM with weekends closed — a traditional weekday contractor schedule rather than an emergency dispatch model. Review themes are genuinely split. Positive reviewers describe responsive, friendly service at good value: one customer reports a hot water heater installed the same day they called at a lower price than competitors. Negative reviewers tell a different story: one describes a flooded dining room caused by the company's mistake with an unfulfilled promise to repair the hole in the wall, and another reports an exorbitant charge for a simple kitchen faucet installation that was never completed satisfactorily. The record is small but polarized, with no consistent middle ground. Mid-South is a fit for Memphis homeowners needing water heater work or faucet and fixture jobs on a weekday schedule who are prepared to manage the engagement carefully. Given the split record, securing a written estimate and scope before work begins is the practical step that separates the good outcomes from the bad ones. The gas line and sewer offerings make it relevant for inspection-driven repair work, provided the pricing is agreed in advance.
