Best Custom home builder in Lincoln for SameDay Service

Shunkwiler Renovations is a general contractor and custom home builder based at 5430 Wilkins Circle in Lincoln's Arnold Heights area, run by Cody Shunkwiler. It handles full residential remodels — kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, and home additions — managing each phase from demolition through finish installation with contemporary materials. Its trade scope is broad: drywall, interior and exterior painting, siding, roofing, gutters, egress window installation, masonry, water heater replacement, sewer line repair and replacement, HVAC installation and service, and electrical panel upgrades. BuildZoom's permit record lists 17 building permits for the company, and the company publicly documents larger acreage renovations, including custom dog-wash laundry stations, spa-like master baths with rain showers, and open-concept living with custom stonework. Review themes from its own materials center on budget stretching — one customer describes adding a bedroom and bathroom to a basement plus renovating an upstairs bathroom within budget — and on Cody working directly with clients. The owner also writes publicly about clear scopes of work and regular progress updates. This company fits homeowners planning major remodels or additions in Lincoln and nearby communities who want one contractor managing multiple trades. Owners of older homes seeking modern interior transformations, basement finishers needing code-compliant egress windows, and buyers turning acreage properties into custom homes all match the portfolio. For anyone needing structural work alongside finish carpentry, the in-house breadth reduces subcontractor juggling.
