15 Best Air conditioning repair service in Indianapolis for SameDay Service

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is the Indianapolis branch of the national One Hour franchise at 4040 Industrial Blvd, focused on heating and cooling rather than plumbing. Its services cover heater repair, installation, and maintenance, furnaces, boilers, geothermal, heat pumps, air conditioning repair and replacement, ductless systems, ductwork, air quality, and thermostats. The company operates 24/7 with emergency HVAC service, a club membership program, and financing options, serving Avon, Bloomington, Brownsburg, Carmel, Fishers, Greenwood, Plainfield, and surrounding communities. Reviews name technicians Tony M and Aaron G for quick, efficient service: customers describe new system installs completed in a day despite difficult extractions, polite inspections with second opinions sought before conclusions, and repairs at no charge. Balanced against that, Yelp reviews include a customer told a refrigerant leak required a full system replacement — a second company found only a clogged air filter — and another quoted a high figure for a replacement that a smaller company undercut significantly. One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning fits Indianapolis homeowners needing HVAC work from a large, always-available franchise. The 24/7 emergency dispatch is the practical advantage for heating and cooling failures. Given the sales-pressure complaints, customers should get itemized quotes and a second opinion before authorizing system replacements.

Service Experts Indianapolis — operating locally as Broad Ripple Service Experts — is a plumbing, heating, cooling, and insulation contractor in the Park 100 area, part of a national franchise network, with round-the-clock availability. Services span plumbing repair and installation, water heater service, sump pump work, furnace and AC repair and installation, preventative maintenance, duct cleaning, blown-in attic insulation, and indoor air quality products. Free estimates are offered, and emergency service covers nights and weekends. Review themes highlight thorough, communicative technicians: Christian, John, Stephen T., Aaron, Ethan Saghir, Ron, and David are named across reviews, praised for explaining work with photos, wearing shoe covers indoors, and no-pressure recommendations — one reviewer notes Ethan fixed a capacitor without pushing new equipment. Water heater servicing, sump pump repairs, and attic insulation jobs feature prominently. Balanced note: one detailed review alleges a wrong reversing-valve diagnosis followed by an upsell attempt, corrected by a second opinion — a reminder that complex HVAC diagnoses merit a second look. This is a fit for Indianapolis homeowners wanting a single franchise-backed provider for plumbing, HVAC, and insulation with consistent processes — photo explanations, maintenance programs, and documented estimates. The insulation offering suits buyers bundling comfort upgrades. For major HVAC diagnoses, the complaint theme suggests getting a second opinion before approving large replacements. Those valuing 24-hour dispatch and structured service will find the operation's scale the main advantage.

Mister Quik Home Services is a multi-trade home services company based at 4625 W 86th St in Indianapolis, covering plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drain cleaning, air duct cleaning, furnace repair, and even roofing. The plumbing side handles drain cleaning, water heaters, fixture installation, and plumbing emergencies, with same-day appointments and emergency services advertised. The company operates from 6 AM to midnight on weekdays and 8 AM to midnight on weekends. Reviews name technicians Richard, Reggie, Ben, Zack, Michael, and Kordell for prompt, professional service: customers describe same-day drain fixes, water heater sales with thorough option explanations, and furnace repairs completed the next day when other companies quoted a week. The one-stop-shop model gets praise for convenience. Balanced against that, some customers and former employees describe pushy sales tactics and upselling pressure on water heaters and other replacements, and one customer waited two months for warranty floor repairs after a water heater burst. Mister Quik fits Indianapolis homeowners who want one company for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical under a single dispatch line. The speed advantage — next-day or same-day when others quote weeks — is the core draw for emergencies. For bigger-ticket replacements, the review pattern suggests getting the quote itemized and comparing before committing.

Armor Air is a full home-service company at 2461 Directors Row in Indianapolis covering plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and indoor air quality. The plumbing side handles emergency services, leaking and frozen pipes, water heaters and tankless units, water softeners and purification, garbage disposals, toilet repair and installation, sump pumps, fixture installation and repair, whole-home repiping, and drain cleaning with no trip charge advertised. Technicians are on call 24/7, and the company serves Avon, Brownsburg, Plainfield, Greenwood, and Franklin. Reviews name technicians Terry, Tim, Anton, Fred, Shawn, and Ryan for thorough diagnostics and honest communication: customers describe drain tests that narrowed issues precisely, full-house plumbing inspections with no pressure, and furnace visits resolved within two hours. The company also runs a membership plan covering regular maintenance across trades. Balanced against that, Yelp reviews show customers complaining about high estimates, informal quoting on a legal pad, and one seriously botched air-quality installation that a senior tech had to redo. Armor Air fits Indianapolis-area homeowners who want plumbing, HVAC, and electrical handled by one provider with a maintenance membership. The no-trip-charge drain cleaning and 24/7 dispatch suit urgent calls. Given the polarized pricing record, customers should ask for written itemized estimates and compare before authorizing large installations.

Plumbing offerings include drain cleaning, furnace-adjacent water work, water pump services, and routine plumbing maintenance. Recurring themes include fully stocked trucks and technicians who explain options. Balanced against that, one detailed review describes a yearly maintenance program that became a scheduling nightmare — a confirmed appointment never happened, the company blamed process errors, and the customer could not exit the program without buying it out. Bassett Services fits Indianapolis homeowners who want heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical from one contractor with 24/7 dispatch. The fast emergency response pattern is the main draw. For the yearly maintenance program, the review record suggests reading the cancellation terms carefully before signing.
